The Second Republic’s most decorated tenderpreneur and corruption poster boy, Wicknell Chivhayo’s romance with African presidents continues unabated.

Fresh from rubbing shoulders with Botswana leader Duma Boko at ZITF two weeks ago, Chivhayo, the unannounced Vice President of Zimbabwe, last week had another dance with yet another African president.

Chivhayo was pictured at a banquet in the company of Presidents Cyril Ramaphosa and Emmerson Mnangagwa at the new unannounced State House, Precabe Farm, a Kwekwe farm owned by President Mnangagwa.

It was a full house at Precabe!

All the ‘criminals surrounding the President’ were reportedly in attendance at the ‘new State House’.

Precabe is not an ordinary farm!

Beyond fish, crops, and Ankole cattle, Precabe is where decisions are made but implemented in Harare.

This is the very same place where Mnangagwa met with opposition MPs two years ago, and the ZANU PF-made opposition leader Sengezo Tshabangu infamously declared support for the 2030 agenda.

Back to the Ramaphosa visit, the Zimbabwean government called it “a private visit,” while their South African counterparts labelled it “a working visit.”

Whatever it was, the bottom line is that it was a clandestine meeting meant to discuss issues away from public media scrutiny in Harare.

Probably that explains why Joji (in Dr Amai’s tone) was blocked from getting into the meeting while Chivhayo and the likes of Tungwarara were attendees.

There was no place for VP placeholders, Guvheya and Mohadi, either!

In South Africa, questions were raised as to why the Phala Phala legend would go to Zimbabwe to meet with a man whose assets were frozen by the state over allegations of money laundering.

Like Judas, Ramaphosa, through his spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, was quick to reject Chivhayo while buttressing that his court issues will be pursued without hesitation.
