The Second Republic in line with President Ruka Chivende’s vision of achieving an upper middle income economy by 2030, has introduced mining in schools.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Just when you thought the ruling elite had reached the peak of ingenuity, they’ve found a way to dig deeper, literally.
This development comes just a fortnight after the Permanent Secretary for Masvingo Province, Dr. Addmore Pazvakavambwa, in a display of unparalleled heroism and revolutionary foresight, took the bold step of thwarting Freeman Chari and his so-called “Citizen Initiative” from perpetrating the unspeakable atrocity of constructing a classroom block at Chingwizi Primary School in Mwenezi District.
These exiled “citizen philanthropists” and counter-revolutionaries had the audacity to pool their hard earned diaspora dollars to build a classroom block at Chingwizi Primary School in Mwenezi district.
A classroom block! The nerve!
To counter Chari’s so-called anti-revolutionary movement, the government has roped its “skilled miners,” affectionately known as “artisanal miners” or makorokoza, to invade schools and introduce practical mining lessons as part of the curriculum.
Globe and Phoenix School in Kwekwe where President Ruka Chivende hails is one of the first beneficiaries of artisanal mining practical lessons in schools.
Thanks to the stellar “hands on” efforts of artisanal miners, a classroom block at Globe and Phoenix School caved in and collapsed
Talk about hands on learning!
The “Leave No One Behind” mantra is about leaving no place behind, especially the ones with minerals like gold.
The True Patriot has it on good authority that President Ruka Chivende is the godfather of artisanal miners along the Great Dyke whom he controls through one of beloved sons, Owen ‘Mudha’ Ncube.
Yes, Mudha, one of the forces behind the “2030 Vanenge Vachipo” Agenda.
Areas like Sanyati have also not been left behind with President Ruka Chivende’s boys, the artisanal miners already conducting practical lessons at Dalny Primary School.
As expected, outspoken, unpatriotic, and Western-sponsored outfits like ARTUZ are already making noise about the Second Republic’s noble initiative to introduce mining in schools.
How unpatriotic of them to prioritize books over picks and shovels!
To his credit, the patriotic Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Hon Torerayi Moyo has remained tight lipped on the ongoing development in schools.
Moyo, of course, exemplifies impeccable table manners, unlike Fortune Chasi, who was unceremoniously dismissed for the unforgivable sin of outshining his master Ruka Chivende during his tenure as Energy Minister.
After all, the revolutionary party has long maintained its aversion to excellence and incorruptible characters.
It thrives on mediocrity and embraces those with well documented revolutionary credentials in shady dealings.
This is why the party finds comfort in the company of luminaries like Priscilla Mupfumira, Obert Mpofu, Obadiah Moyo, Fredrick Shava, Mayor Wadyajena, and a host of comrades who have graced corruption scandals with admirable consistency.
In fact, being implicated in one or two dubious deals isn’t a stain on one’s reputation it’s a badge of honor in the party’s ranks under President Ruka Chivende.
Little wonder, then, that figures like Wicknell Chivayo enjoy proximity to the First Family, where their talents for self-enrichment are evidently appreciated.
