ZIFA councillors emerged as big winners from ZIFA elections held on Saturday as they were each promised cars by one of President Ruka Chivende’s beloved sons, Wicknell Chivhayo.

Elections became just a formality as car loving councillors installed Queen Bee’s erand boy, Nqobile Magwizi was installed as ZIFA President.

When President Ruka Chivende once said, “We are the police, we are the army, we are everything” not many took him seriously.

Now his words have come to pass.

The country’s most loved sport, football is now in the hands President Mnangagwa’s runner boys.

What a big month for Kudakwashe Tagwirei, the businessman of Second Republic.

Fresh from banging the chairmanship of Land Tenure Implementation Committee, Queen Bee is now in charge of the country’s football albeit through his tortoise on the lamp post, Nqobile Magwizi.

It can only be Tagwirei or Chivhayo in the Second Republic, two of President Mnangagwa’s beloved sons.

Their tentacles span across every sector, from Gold Mafia, ZEC and now to football.

Profit Magaya underestimated the influence of Queen Bee and Chivharo.

The Aguma discoverer tried in vain to fight through their courts in his bid to become the first ZIFA president without O’Levels.

Even Sabhuku Temba was left seething frustration in his bid to swap Parliament for ZIFA presidency.

No man has ever fought Queen Bee and Chivharo and emerged victorious.

Sabhuku should have asked Moses Mpofu and Mike Chimombe who tried to fight Chivharo.

Now they are rotting in jail and will not get bail unless Chivharo instructs the judges to do so.
