In a twist turn of events, our very own actress Hon Minister Tatenda Annastacia Mavetera who rose to national stardom when she featured in a Zimbabwe’s first soap Studio 263 announced that now WhatsApp admins are now required to pay a substantive fee of $50 USD if their groups are meant for business.

We would like to welcome and fully congratulate POTRAZ and Actress Tendai Jari for further tightening the livelihoods of the Zimbabwean people. It is a public secret that our economy has gone full throttle informal under the capable leadership of Cde Ruka Chivende.

The patriotic citizens of Zimbabwe understood President Ruka’s agenda to informalise and the majority of the citizens are now relying on their informal business to put bread on the table and to boost their sales they have embraced WhatsApp platform to reach out to their potential customers. Not to mention those recent graduates that were recently capped by Cde Dzokerai Mabhunu , who have equally embraced the joblessness in the country and by such they have to do some magic to make ends meet for them using WhatsApp groups, whilst they are waiting for the 2 million Jobs promised in 2018 by Cde Ruka Students also are not spared, it’s known that the cost of living in this country is now astronomic and the life of a female student on campus now shoulders on WhatsApp group marketing particularly to those who sell sanitary wear, cereals and electronic gadgets on campus.

WhatsApp groups plays a key role in saving the girl child from the ever preying blessers who always use economic power to perpetuate sexual corruption in Universities. Patriotic citizens of Zimbabwe hold the view that a Leopard hardly loses its spots, hence probably Cde Hon Minister Tendai Jari and POTRAZ as usual are just pulling a joke but this time it just became an unfortunate joke. Mybe Minister lost her dramatic moves along the way, we used to enjoy her theatrics at 263 but her recent joke was received with fury by the public and she has been advised to retract such funny policy.
