It has come to our attention that certain unpatriotic political think tanks and so-called democratic institutions have seen fit to hurl preposterous accusations at our beloved ruling party, ZANU PF.
Allegations of electoral interference in neighboring countries, really?
One would think these folks had more pressing issues to fabricate.
ZANU PF are the self appointed guardians of truth and occasionally, other people’s elections.
As the True Patriot we feel it is our revolutionary duty to address these malicious slanders designed to tarnish the impeccable reputation of ZANU PF.
Let us begin with the obvious, these claims are baseless, desperate, and betray a woeful misunderstanding of who ZANU PF are.
ZANU PF has always been a party of principles, values, and, yes, impeccable timing.
Of course in ZANU PF we say: “We don’t interfere”; we inspire.”
“We don’t “manipulate, we motivate.
“And if some would misconstrue our passion for active neighborliness as meddling, well, the fault lies in their perception, not our noble actions,” we in ZANU PF would add.
That said, patriotic Zimbabweans let’s not mince words.
ZANU PF as a revolutionary party, has a moral obligation to share the gospel of liberation and freedom with our African brothers and sisters.
If this occasionally requires extending a helping hand or perhaps a firm guiding shove, then so be it.
After all, as the great Chairman Mao reminded us, “A revolution is not a dinner party.”
Frankly, if you’re going to revolutionise, you’d better roll up your sleeves and get comfortable with the occasional smear of democratic gravy.
To our beloved ZANU PF detractors, we say this: calm down.
ZANU PF is not “interfering” it’s spreading the love, one ballot box at a time.
If the hearts of aggrieved Africans across the SADC region were as big as ours, they might even appreciate the benevolence.
Behind ZANU PF efforts is a noble cause to protect revolutionary parties no matter the cost be it democracy, protestors and even integrity.
With that said, let’s put this nonsense to rest, ZANU PF does not interfere in elections.
Our beloved ZANU PF simply leads by example as an inspirational force guiding the SADC region toward unity, progress, and, occasionally, a voting tally that protects sister revolutionary parties.
To all misguided ZANU PF critics we say keep shouting into the void if it makes you feel better.
ZANU PF has a SADC region to uplift, a nation to develop, and a revolution to keep alive.
Long live the revolution! Long live ZANU PF!
