Comrades, it’s that time of the week again, the time I rise from the grave to express my regret over the monsters I created during my 37-year reign, monsters that ultimately turned on me in 2017.

I must confess, my unquenchable thirst for power clouded my judgment. I never imagined that these creatures I molded would one day bring about my own downfall.

This past week has been filled with bad news across our country and beyond its borders in the southern region, and these miseries offer me the perfect chance to address you, my beloved, ever-suffering citizens.

My successor, Ruka Chivende, appears to be fumbling the art of power consolidation with his so-called “2030 Agenda,” which supposedly aims to balance the line between reality and autocracy.

A lofty goal for a man who can’t seem to master even the basics of maintaining control. The same unresolved succession crisis that loomed over my tenure now hovers over his, like a shadow waiting to swallow him whole.

From my ethereal perch, I watch with amusement as Chivende repeats my mistakes, oblivious to the same fate that awaits him.

Chivende, my own creation, is blundering down the same path that led to my own demise. I wait patiently—oh so patiently—for his inevitable downfall.

But lest I sound like a bitter, ousted leader constantly criticizing his successor, allow me to change the subject.
