The ever problematic and Western funded rogue regime change agents which masquerade as Amalgamated Rural Teachers’ Union (ARTUZ), have called for another demonstration on 28 March.
This time, they are demanding a so-called “living wage” of US$1,260 for teachers, a figure so laughably high that it’s almost as if they believe educators deserve to live above the poverty line.
The Second Republic, however, remains steadfast in its commitment to ignoring the lamentations of these Unpatriotic citizens.
ARTUZ has always been a thorn on our side and an itch we cannot get rid of due to their genuine calls for restoring teacher dignity by improving conditions of service including guaranteeing a living wage.
It is no secret that Zimbabwean teachers are among the most underpaid professionals in the region.
In fact, teaching has become less of a civil service and more of a modern-day form of slavery.
Labor relations, if they can even be called that, are at an all-time low.
Teachers’ suffering does not justify the shameless and open rebellion against the government of His Excellency, Cde President Trabablas.
ARTUZ in a brazen act of defiance has decreed that they will make the country “ungovernable” if salaries are not reviewed by 28 March.
This is not just a demand, it’s a direct threat to the stability of the ZANU PF-led government under the wise and benevolent leadership of Cadre Chivende.
Such insolence will, of course, be dismissed with the contempt it deserves, physically or otherwise.
The Second Republic has also noted the suspicious timing of this demonstration, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the events of 31 March, as announced by the ungrateful Blessed Geza.
While ARTUZ has openly distanced itself from Geza’s actions, claiming their focus is solely on labor issues, the government is not fooled.
Led by unruly characters like Obert Masaraure and Robson Chere, it is clear that ARTUZ’s true agenda is to undermine ZANU PF.
Unlike the patriotic agents at The Zimbabwe Teachers’ Association (ZIMTA), Progressive Teachers Union Zimbabwe (PTUZ), and Teachers for ED, who, despite the cries of their impoverished members, remain loyal to the regime, ARTUZ continues to fight for the rights of the majority.
This, of course, makes them a threat to ZANU PF’s hegemony.
The security forces are well aware that ARTUZ is raising genuine concerns—concerns that, if addressed, might even benefit the nation.
As True Patriots we declare and want it to be known But let it be known that there will be no room for such unpatriotic behavior in the Second Republic.
The government calls on all long-suffering teachers to continue enduring their hardships in silence, as True Patriots should.
After all, speaking common sense is a privilege reserved for those who know where their bread is buttered.
